Banda Nadeau
Banda graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2007. While in law school, she was a Dean’s Honor Scholar and a member of the Moot Court Honor Board. She also interned with the State Attorney’s Office for the Fourth Judicial Circuit and clerked for a local employment law firm.
Upon graduation, Banda practiced as an Assistant State Attorney for three years before transitioning to other areas of the law to include insurance defense, criminal defense, and civil practice. In 2015, Banda began practicing solely in the area of family law and has never looked back.
She opened her own family law practice in 2020 where she was passionate about finding personalized solutions for her clients that addressed their unique situation. She represented both men and women, so she is keenly aware of the different mindset of each, as well as the stress and emotions that can arise.
Banda approaches every case with the philosophy that family law is not about winning or losing—it’s about finding a path forward that honors the needs and dignity of everyone involved. Her goal is to resolve a client’s matter with the least amount of trauma to the family in order to preserve relationships, minimize conflict, and promote long-term security.
Banda is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator, and a member of the Florida Family Law Inns of Court, the Jacksonville Bar Association, the Collaborative Family Law Group of Northeast Florida, and Florida Association of Collaborative Professionals.
