Yarissa Castillo

Yarissa Castillo serves the Leap Frog Divorce team as a bilingual (English and Spanish) Paralegal and assists the LFD Guardian Ad Litem in cases with Spanish speaking clients.

The expression of Yarissa’s heart for service started at a young age when she routinely helped feed people experiencing homelessness, through her local churches. Later as a student athletic trainer, she helped her peers recover from injuries – always striving to move them toward better health and the best version of themselves.

Yarissa has always been invested in the welfare of others, whether it be counselling her coaching clients in health and nutrition, serving vulnerable populations, or helping others through life challenges.

Prior to working with the Leap Frog Divorce team, Yarissa had an impressive 13-year career with the well-known Central Florida company, Westgate Resorts. More recently, she worked as a paralegal in the real estate industry. She provides our clients excellent care and customer service grounded in her many years of working with the public.

Yarissa has been through a divorce involving children and because of this experience understands the client experience. She helps our clients know they are in a “judgment free zone” when working with her and the whole LFD team. She understands the often-rocky terrain that accompanies family law matters and seeks to provide a space for clients to feel heard and understood. In addition, Yarissa enjoys educating clients about the process. From being in their position at one time, she understands the power of knowledge – how comforting it can be. Her superpower is delivering information to clients in a clear, kind, and honest way. This ability is one of the many things that makes her a crucial and admired part of the Leap Frog team.
